Forum Outcomes
Outcomes Report and Action Plan
The Outcomes Report and Action Plan follows the 5 June 2008 Alice Springs Planning for the Future Forum. The forum was convened to obtain community input into growth options of Alice Springs.
Five key action areas were
identified as a result of the forum. They will
be used to guide the planning of
Alice Springs to 2013.
These action areas - generated by feedback
from the forum– and needing full
stakeholder involvement are:
- A review of the Structure Plan
1999 and the exhibition of a
change to the Alice Springs Land
Use Framework Plan and Principles in the NT Planning Scheme.
- A review of development control clauses applicable to the CBD.
- The Alice Springs CBD Revitalisation Project.
- Residential Land Release Strategy
(Larapinta and Mount Johns
Valley).

South of the Gap Infrastructure Headworks Investigations.
